Who Would Win: Xenomorph Vs Death Angel

Who would win in a fight between the Xenomorphs from Alien and the Death Angels from A Quiet Place? This post will figure out exactly that. I will compare their strengths and weaknesses to see who comes out on top. I will be considering the first three Alien films and all three A Quiet Place films. Fair warning: There will be spoilers since I will be discussing some key features about each monster. Now that a spoiler warning is in effect, let’s begin!

To start, let’s figure out who has the best defense mechanism. The Xenomorphs are known for their acid blood, while the Death Angels have nearly impenetrable armor. While the Xenomorphs’ blood is a good way to deter attackers, the Death Angels’ armor will stop attacks in the first place. So, the first point goes to the Death Angels.

Next let’s talk about intelligence. Xenomorphs are shown to be extremely intelligent. When Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) tries to blow up the ship in Alien, the Xenomorph understands this and hides aboard the escape pod. While we don’t know a ton about the intelligence of the Death Angels, in A Quiet Place: Day One we see a Death Angel follow Samira (Lupita Nyong’o) and Eric (Joseph Quinn) into a flooded tunnel, knowing full well that it can’t swim. For these reasons, I will give the Xenomorphs a point for intelligence.

What about physicality? Xenomorphs are built with sharp teeth and a speared tail. They have been shown to be very stealthy. Death Angels also have sharp teeth, but where they really shine is in their strength. They move freakishly fast, and that kind of speed requires a lot of power. For this reason, I will give the point to the Death Angels.

Finally, each creature’s senses should be considered. As far as we know, the Xenomorphs have all five senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, whereas the Death Angels are severely lacking in the sight department. The point goes to the Xenomorphs.

So, the score is tied. The Death Angels have the brawn, but the Xenomorphs have the brain. Who would come out on top? Well, I think that in a direct fight, the Death Angels would win, but if the Xenomorphs get the opportunity for stealth, they may have a chance, albeit slim. As soon as the Xenomorph hits the Death Angel, its position would be revealed, and the door would be opened for a brutal counterattack. The Xenomorph would have to wait for the right opportunity and strike as the Death Angel is listening for it. That strike would have to be perfectly placed to get between the Death Angel’s Armor. This strategy is the Xenomorph’s only chance, and it relies on so many uncertainties. Ultimately, the Death Angel would most likely take the victory.
